Yes, DoYourBestie is free to use. Joining challenges with an invite code is always free and unlimited, and challenges you share with friends are free with no limit. The free plan also includes one solo challenge: a challenge nobody else has joined yet. To start another solo challenge, invite a Bestie to your current one (once they join it becomes a shared challenge and frees the slot), delete it, or get DoYourBestie Pro for unlimited solo challenges.

DoYourBestie is an iOS app today. Everyone in a challenge needs the app on their own iPhone to check in. Other platforms may follow later.

Create a challenge, copy the join code, and send it to the group. They enter the code in the app to join the same challenge.

Yes. Start from a template like no sugar, daily run, no phone after 10pm, daily workout, wake at 6am, or no alcohol, or write your own rule in plain language.

Yes. When you create the challenge you can pick an earlier start day, then backfill the days that already passed so the record is accurate.

The challenge owner can adjust details like the title and the start date. Keep changes small once people are checking in, so the record stays clear for everyone.

Each morning, open the challenge and mark kept it or missed. The whole group sees the same status list, which keeps the pressure honest.

No. Every challenge runs on the honor system: zero money, no payment, nothing charged for stakes. The only purchase in the app is the optional DoYourBestie Pro subscription, which unlocks unlimited solo challenges and is handled by Apple through your Apple Account.

Notifications are optional. If you allow them, DoYourBestie can send useful challenge updates, such as join activity or streak milestones.

Connect your email in the app to secure your account, and your challenges restore through iCloud when you set up a new device. If something looks missing, email us and we'll help.
